After breakfast at Dixie Quicks in Omaha (who knew Omaha was so hip and edgy? Great food and an art gallery attached? I'm impressed) we drove for several repetitive but beautiful hours of lush green farmland. Tons of windmills and old dilapidated barns dotting the landscape. Finally hit some traffic on the way into the city, but not too bad for a Sunday. Arrived in Chicago in the evening at last... ready to start settling in and getting organized. I guess I will need to get a job soon! I'll worry about that another day. For now, just happy to be a resident of Chicago.
